Being an elusive classification of narrative, the fantastic has always intrigued me
As a tribute to the genre —and as a way of investigating its boundaries— I started to work with some classic stories: reading them, researching their authors and where they were first published, attempting Spanish translations of some of them, etc.
As a first step towards “absorbing” the genre and sharing my passion for it, I created a collection of printed planners, each one dedicated to a classic short story. Due to their carefully thought out design, they can alternatively be used as diaries (they even have extra blank spaces to write freely or draw on).
The first example, Hypnos, shows a simulation of handwriting, in blue color, to demonstrate how they can be used.
